Paul Poiret Logo + Concept Ads
Brief: The project was to design a new logo for a fashion house that hit it big in the 1910's and then fell out of the public eye. The big challenge was capturing the essence of the early century, while still looking modern. The logo also had to be timeless enough to endure years and years of use. The type is a custom font inspired by prints from Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
The ads below illustrate three of the original fashions for a modern audience, utilizing the mark in the wallpaper & tapestries behind the figure.
